Mints

A large family of plants with an enormous range of colour and aroma. From tiny corsican mint, good ground cover, to the common garden mint will romp away in the garden if not controlled.
Plant in containers to keep the mints seperate.
Try putting spearmint of peppermint near roses to deter aphids.
Mints are used extensively in cooking and menthol rich mints (M.x.piperita) are used as decongestants and only with sweet foods like ice cream and chocolate because of their strong flavours.
