The National Herb Centre runs a varied programme of events throughout the year including workshops, children's activities, wildlife activities and art exhibitions forcoming events include:

Minibeast Roadshow 11.00am – 4.00pm

An opportunity to meet and handle some of our exotic creepy crawlies.  You can cuddle a Hissing Cockroach, overcome your fear of Spiders, and meet Archie, Ollie and Barny our three Snakes. There’s so much more to see, so come along and join in the fun.

The cost to see and handle our bugs and reptiles is £2.50 per person, and you can come in as many times as you want throughout the day.   You can either buy an advance ticket and take advantage of our special online offer for group bookings, or just turn up and pay on the day (sorry group bookings are only available for advance ticket sales).

Den Building: 11.30am - 12.30pm, cost per person: £3.00

Pond dipping & bug hunt: 2.30pm – 3.30pm, cost per person: £3.00
